Terry Talbot changed American music. His 1960s group, Mason Proffit, with brother John Michael Talbot, influenced groups like The Eagles, who told Terry that "Hotel California" was musically based upon the Mason Proffit hit, "Two Hangmen".
Nominated for numerous Grammy and Dove awards, Terry, with brother John, recorded "The Painter" in 1979, the album Billboard Magazine called, "acoustic album of the decade!" (edit)
