Icee Jake currently has a combined registered fan base of over 5,000 from his IceeJake.com , myspace.com/beljum, projectopus.com/iceejake, SoundClick, iLike, Download.com, and GarargeBand.com. Listeners have downloaded nearly 15,000 of his songs. Over thirty websites including, Internet Radio and PodCasting sites feature his music as well as Independent radio stations.
Winner of twenty-three Reviewers’ Picks Awards on GarargeBand.com, the song "KARMA" presently rank as part of their Rap Top 20. Also chosen for the GarageBand Round 6 New Music Discovery for the - Clear Channel New Music Discovery Website and will feature "KARMA" and additional songs with four star plus ratings.
His song "Make Your Move" was voted as the Columbus Alive! jukebox favorite.
"Make Your Move" was also chosen by a panel of Berklee College music scholars and hip-hop celebrity judges as one of two grand prize winners in the 2006 "Take Back the Music" Hip Hop Song Writing Contest sponsored by Berklee College of Music and Essence Magazine. Celebrity judges included such notable names as MC Lyte, ?uestlove, DJ Jazzy Joyce, and Brian "Raydar" Ellis.
Following his blow-out concert at the Berklee Performance Center on August 9th, Icee Jake has been promoting his newest CD entitled TEMPTATIONS, set to release in April He has also been working to complete his first retail release CD entitled Indigo Sun.
Icee Jake’s other recording credits include two independently released CDs - Beljum Productions Basement Cutz Vol. I and Basement Cutz Vol. II, as well as selections on Tha 270 mix-tape CD and The EST Presents released by Liv Live Entertainment and the South Padre Island, Texas Autobahn Spring Break Jam 2005 DVD released by Texas Heatwave.
